2012 Fiat 500C (Cabrio)

Here is new Fiat 2012 500C (Cabrio) in the New York International Auto Show (NAIAS). The vehicle is based on the U.S. version 500Coupe with special roof spoiler and automatically retractable soft top that can be removed at speeds up to 60 miles / hour (97 km / h).

"The new 2012 Fiat 500Cabrio perfectly timed for the arrival of spring and warm weather, expanding our product line, while a tribute to the rich heritage of the brand in the open air convertibles that deliver style, value and driving pleasure," said Laura Soave, head of FIAT brand in North America. "The new Fiat 500C has been intelligently designed specifically for our market, now with added dose of sunshine and a panoramic view by pressing the button," she added.








2012 Fiat 500C US powered by a 1.4-liter engine with MultiAir 102PS (75 kW) and 133Nm (98 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is available with either a 5-speed manual or optional 6-speed automatic transmission. A new 6-speed automatic transmission has a "Sport" mode that allows you to quickly switch gears. A unique map throttle improves engine responsiveness and allows each gear to be near the red line for a longer period.

The interior boasts air conditioning (AC), power windows and locks, soft leather steering wheel and Bluetooth / USB connectivity. TomTom navigation with BLUE & ME Handsfree communication system has an innovative 4.3 "(10.9 cm) screen on the top of the dashboard of the new 2012 Fiat 500C's. Especially for women, you can optionally set the rhinestones on the steering wheel and some places are covering.

500C is a small city car, so it has only 153 liters of luggage space, but it can be extended to 663 liters when the rear seats folded.
